I completely get that. I am always trying to get new ideas and wanting to revise my older books to make them more up to date. I think all authors get that feeling: literary critic George Steiner wrote a whole book called "My Unwritten Books" (he did actually write several ones).
Please write this book, under that title. If the whole book is going to be as thoughtful and in depth as this piece on Big Ben was, I'll definitely get a copy and review it.
